My neighbor just came to tell me my 2 cows were out down the road. So we went down there not too far and they walked back with me. They're just big ole babies. I know where they got out. They can just walk right over this one part of the fence and I had put a cattle panel in front of it a few weeks ago. But now there's another spot. So they are out back now with the goats, terrorizing the poor things. They were raised with the goats but have been in a different pasture for awhile now.

I will call a friend who does fencing and see if he will come pull the fence back up for me.

There's always something going on around here. Yesterday it was the goats in my front garden. Twice! So they are all out back, too. Darn goats and cows. Sometimes it's a little too much for this old gal to handle by myself. But it's all good at the moment.

Kiddie pool. Shade tree. Glass of sweet tea. Sounds very relaxing. Go for it.

Aw, you're such a sweetie. That does sound good. I think I might go sit out in the kiddie pool with a good book. That way I can keep an eye on everyone.

I did see in the other garden where the cows walked through it. I had to go get some t-posts out there and saw these big ole holes in the ground and I finally figured out it was cow prints. They walked real nice all around out there but never touched anything that I could see. I didn't really have time to look yet. I may be surprised soon though.

Goodness, Kris, you HAVE had a time of it today!! If I could, I'd bring you a big ol' glass of sweet tea as you recoup in the shade!

Ha ha, Tina. I do feel extremely old right now. It's too hot out there to be working.

Well, my guy Scott just tried to fix the fence the best he could. It's very old and very heavy with honeysuckle vines that have been growing for years. So we will have to just go on this side of it with field fence as soon as the SIL gets home.

Right now I'm sweating like crazy. Why does everything happen out in the full sun? Can't anything ever happen in the shade??? So I'm gonna just sit here and take a break til something else happens.
