Posted - Jun 12 2009 : 6:41:43 PM Raising chickens for an amateur "Chicken Farmerette" (like me) can be stinky-icky business since the little critters absolutely do not give a .......well....hoot... where they decide to do their business! Everyone I've talked to has figured out their own little tricks to keeping things fairly clean. Stop by Curly Willows Ranch and see what I came up with.

Posted - Jun 12 2009 : 7:37:17 PM You sure have a nice hen house. And very clean. I love the nests. And isn't it funny how they all lay in the same nest when there are 500 other nests available? Crazy hens. At least yours do lay eggs in the nest box. A few of mine do but the other 3 like to hide theirs for me to hunt. They must know I have always liked Easter egg hunts.
