Yes, I have decided on a 2nd kitty cat this past Sunday
Since Elvis disappeared I miss a little pet in my home. I need a little sweety to keep me company in the lonely hours, lol.
Church friends had a litter last April. And they still had 3 of the cutest kitties to find good homes for. And since I miss my sweet Elvis I decided to just take the plunge and get a 2nd one. IF Elvis ever returns, which I still hope and pray for, I will have 2 sweeties in my home, lol.

She is SO sweet! I went over Monday to choose one and I just could NOT choose, she choose me, lol. She just wandered over to my HOT PINK shoes I was wearing and that made the deal. She loves pink as much as I do, lol. SO she will be here next Saturday June 13, my birthday. She will be almost 8 weeks then

I posted 2 pictures of her on my Dutch blog (link below) I realize none one of you might be able to read Dutch but just take a look at the pictures I posted and fall in love She looks rather big but that is because these are close ups. She is so small she fits in my hand but next week she will be grown again and she will be old enough to come live with me. She just kept walking in my direction, miauwing AAAWWWWW so guess she lurves me too

And now a question?? I have chosen a temporary name for her, PINKY. I really like the name but if any of you have a better suggestions, I am open for ideas, lol. Y'all know my love for the color pink, so maybe a reference to that? And not a long name just an easy one to remember lol. I have some other ideas in my head, let's just see wether you can come up with a new one.
MAYBE just maybe I might pick a winner

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Hi Marian, your new kitty is so cute, but then, I LOVE kitties and will probably end up being the crazy cat lady, lol. You could name her Magenta and call her Maggie, lol.

So happy you have a new kitty! And I'm glad she'll be an indoor cat. As much as I love seeing kitties outdoors, there are just too many dangers for them out there. My black cat, Daisy, was an indoor cat and begged to go outdoors -- which I finally allowed her to do. But she got in trouble over at the neighbors (killed a rabbit, which is no loss to me and my garden!) and was reported to the Cat Police. So now she's indoor only. And I do think it's better for her.

Love Pinky as a name! It fits you -- I mean her!!

Enjoy those fun kitten antics. Little kitties are sooooo cute!!!

Hi Marian,

I love Pinky! Max and I are still hoping Elvis returns. Wouldn't it be lovely to have two fur babies? Wishing you the best.

Hey Dutchy long time no talking to you! I love the baby kitty--so very sweet! I think Pinky is a great name! Unless you like another name that sort of is pink--like Rose or something! I am sure whatever name you come up with will be wonderful!

Hugs!

OH Annika, I had been thinking about Priscilla/Prissy too! The connection between Elvis and Priscilla Presley , lol. Who knows.......;)

And no way is she going to go outside, this is going to be a strictly indoor kitten. She WILL have a thingy, whatchamacallit again, around her neck, PINK ofcourse. And that way she might go outside in my garden with a long leash and ONLY if I am there too to keep an eye on her.

I love Pinky! cool name for the little sweetie! Maybe Priscilla Pinky, You could then call her Pinky or Priss =) She is so terribly cute, I just want to cuddle her. I'm so happy that you have a new kitty Marian. Maybe you should just keep this one in side and not let her wander around....she is so cute!

She's adorable! I love a tabby, I do. Pinky is a very cute name...I'll try to think of something else, but that's pretty cute. When I think of pink, I think of the name Blossom for some reason. And, Cherry (those beautiful hot pink ones that are sooooo sweet!)

Love your blog! The kitten is absolutely adorable. Best of luck with her and give her a hug from me. I have two cats and a dog and would have a whole farm if I was given the chance. One day (or at least that is what I keep telling myself)
