Posted - May 12 2009 : 1:33:13 PM Alee's post reminded me of something I saw this past Saturday.
Saturday I drove into the "big city" to do a little shopping and on my way back home I stopped at a traffic light. I had been sitting there for awhile when I noticed this dark cloud of insects moving towards my car. I didn't realize what they were until they got right up on the car, but they were BEES- hundreds of them. I have never seen so many bees at one time!

Posted - May 13 2009 : 04:32:39 AM You know they may have been, Alee. Come to think about it, the state is widening that highway. They have torn down several old trees and are starting to work up the ground. Bet their old home got tore down by the state. :(

Posted - May 12 2009 : 3:38:39 PM Definately the windows were up. LOL When I first saw them coming across the highway I thought maybe they were beetles. But then when a few of them bounced off the windshield I realized what they were. It was a little spooky, but neat at the same time.
