Posted - May 06 2009 : 8:42:34 PM I just got back from tuckin' in the boys and girls and my group of 18 is now 17! Being between 2 and 3 months of age they run around in one room of the barn, it is open beamed, how high could one fly?? I am thinking maybe he got up into the rafters somewhere, but I can't see a darn thing b/c a tree knock the power out there down yesterday. So any ideas? |

Posted - May 07 2009 : 06:24:56 AM Found Him!!! He came running up to me from the main part of the barn this morning. Either he got up into the rafters somewhere and then came back down. Or I was a horrible chicken mamma and mis-counted the night before when I shut the door to their little room. I am just glad he is back!! Thanks so much for your concern and prayers. |

Posted - May 07 2009 : 05:05:59 AM Chelsea, have you found it yet? Chickens usually roost in groups so maybe it was scrunched up real close to another. I have done that before when I'm counting. One would be up under another one. I hope ya found it thes morning!
