I am getting my chickens next tuesday. (05/12) Boy was that a wait, I ordered them in Jan and dreaming about them since last spring, when of course it was too late to order.

I want to keep them organic and would also like to amend their diet so their eggs will provide omega 3 and fatty acids to my diet. What do you all feed them to provide the omega 3? I assume flax?

I could look up the info in my chicken books, but heck I am not where that book is now and its rght now that its on my mind.

I was going to go with no shots for them and want to keep them organic. Any ideas that work and did not work?
