I answered an add on a local yahoo group today.

I am going to be getting fresh farm eggs delivered once a week! YAY! For only $9 a month-a dozen a week! I feel like I stuck gold! I can't wait to eat eggs that actually have flavor to them!

Kristin- well, we rent and I want to live here for a year and really establish a good relationship with our land lords before requesting hens. I would LOVE to have my own hens. I used to work on a ranch and we had as many fresh eggs as we could eat every day! They were soo good! Then when I didn't work there, there was a place only about a half mile or maybe a mile down the road from our apartment that had a huge free range flock that sold eggs. Both eggs were so good!

How wonderful! There is no comparison. You will love them. Next step is getting your own hens?

I got 3 eggs yesterday! So I hope I can stop buying them soon.

I joined our local coop and started getting fresh eggs too. Oh my! They are so good, an cook up so fluffy, they don't even need salt or pepper. I read somewhere that store bought eggs could sometimes be as much as 4 weeks old by the time you purchase them, holy cow! No wonder they taste like crap!
