Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 7:11:54 PM I thought that's what my hens were. Now I know for sure they are game hens. I've got 2 of the brown ones. Anyway, they are great birds and very good mothers. So far my little momma is doing a good job.
Thanks for the link, Christina. Every time I read descriptions of animals I hear the guy's voice that does the dog shows. Does anyone else do that? I know it's crazy, but he has the best voice for things like that.

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 3:37:43 PM I agree with Kris. His posture and tail say Old English Game to me. Here is a link (I know. Always a link. LOL) for OEG and towards the bottom there is one that looks alot like your guy. He is a beauty whatever he may be. Congrats!

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 07:54:25 AM Cheryl, I was kind of waiting to see if anyone else knows what he is. He is a pretty roo. He looks a little like a game type. Probably really mixed through the years. But they make great roosters. They know how to keep the flock together and take care of their girls. These hybrid guys don't know too much. So I think ya got a good deal.
