We are still thinking about getting a second dog.

We already have a Belgian. She is 2, high energy, great with everyone including the UPS man and only herds the chickens when trying to get attention.

Thought about a mini poodle. Standard is too big and teacup too fragile.

Also on a whim thought about samoyeds. Very pretty, high energy like we need and good w/ kids.

I brush Jaz a few times a week, so the brushing time comitment is no biggie, and the longer tufts of tumbleweeds in the house are actually more tolerable than all those tiny short hairs.

Anything else?

We are in no way ready to commit, but was just wanting more info.

Very pretty!

I love the all white with black eyes and nose.

I have thought about saving the hair from our first dog. Lord knows if I could spin it and knit, a blanket or two would already grace the couch, that's for sure!

It is kind of a nice sentimental idea, especially when the pet passes on.

Oops! I meant to say yarn instead of wool.

One nice thing about Samoyeds is that you can save their fur when you brush them and have someone spin it into wool
