We have two geese that have taken to visiting us twice daily. I got pics of them this morning! Aren't they magnificent?! I need to try and get a picture of them flying away...always such a pretty sight!

Diana- Scotts Mills is actually outside of Silverton, of which I actually live closer too. It is one of those funny address things. I know where your town is, we have actually been looking at property in the southern Oregon area. Sure hope you get to see babies this year.

Marybeth, that picture is wonderful! And Lilian, yes, we have two ponds nearby but none on our property. I sooo hope we have little ones! Where is Scotts Mills? I thought I'd been all over Oregon :) We live outside of Medford, in Sams Valley.

We get a pair that comes every year and nests in the pond, raise their young and then they are gone. Do you have water near by Diana? If so they they may be there to raise their youngins too, then you may be able to get a glimpse of the whole family before they leave.

Indeed they are pretty. I had two visit me at my pond last year and they stayed long enough to have two goslings and raise them most of the summer and then off they went. I am so surprised the dogs or coyotes didn't bother them. The babies were so cute. MB
I found a pic of the cuties.
