At this moment I am holding my new Doxie puppy, she's sleeping on my lap, as I try to type this post one handed. She is so pretty, very tiny, black and tan. Right now she has no name. My friend's children called her Traveler.

I like these names, what name do you think would be a good Doxie name.

Daisy
Bella
Maggie
Dolly

Any other ideas?

Well, I think she needs a potty break. Talk to you later.

My husband picked out a name for our little baby puppy, which seems to fit her. Molly. She just seems like a Molly. She sure is a sweet girl.

I love the name Bella...but mostly because I have had dogs with all the other names you mentioned..all bassets. We have two bassets (Maggie who is 4 and Stella who is 11 ) and one black and tan (and lots of grey now) mini doxie named Frank who is nearly 13. (one more month) Its seems like just a couple years ago that he was a little 3 lb. pup. Have fun with the new baby!

I love Doxies too - that's all we've had for about the last 20 years. Our little girl that we have now is named Lucy and it fits her very well!

I had a Doxie shortly after I got married and his name was Tybee. My hubby grew up in Tybee Island, GA and he was the color of the beach. :) My lab at the time was named Bella so Im partial to that one..lol
