Posted - Dec 10 2008 : 6:26:31 PM If any of you are interested....I've been posting new work on my blog as 'work in progress' pics. People often enjoy watching the paintings take shape so I thought I would tell you about it since almost all of my stuff is animal related. :)
Take care!

Posted - Dec 11 2008 : 10:45:48 AM I hope you keep painting. :) Dabbling is okay too. You don't have to take art 'seriously' to be an artist but you probably know that. I do my best work when I play so I try to not take it serious. :)
What you see at this point is the underpainting. I do like color. It will end up being somewhat toned down after I get a few more layers on.
I put a black lab and draft horse team 'work in prgress' up today. Too bad the wet paint creates a glare-- check back so you can see final pics with dry paint when all the richness shows up! thanks for stopping by.

Posted - Dec 11 2008 : 05:54:02 AM Fun use of color. Keep up the great work! I've dabbled in wildlife painting myself, I have good intentions to take myself more seriously but lack the nerve... |
