Hi gals. I'll post pictures later, but for now, let me tell you I have 5 darling little fat farm puppies available in Yakima! They are a mix of different herding/farm dog breeds, and some have blue eyes.

Great personalities and their mamma is the a great help and super sweet around the ranch.
$25.00 each

OMG! They are so adorable!! My daughter and I want a dog so bad. But we can't because we live in an apartment where the landlord says no.

I think grouchy because of the rain...and it's getting crowded by our standards there too now. I used to be pretty grouchy myself there- pushing a huge grocery cart through the parking lots while it poured rain on me, the kids, and everything in my cart...oh how well I remember!

Haha Dalyn, are they grouchy and mean because of the rain, or just grouchy and mean? I think New York City-folks tend to be grouchy and mean because they have to share their lives with 1 million other people. Really, they need some space and fresh air! :) Yes,please send along the address :)

Hmm...well, it doesn't matter to me, the mix of the doggies, the pups sure are cute!!

Zan, I really have no idea if they are more Boerder Collie or Austrailian- the mom and dad were both mixed, but they looked exactly like the same kind of mix. Funny!
Are poeple in New York really that intimidating? People here are mostly ranchers and super friendly, although on the other side of the mountains where it always rains (where I'm from) they are grouchy and mean.
Sending you my address-

Dalyn, you are a sweetheart! Haha, it's easy to garden when there are no moles, gophers or pile of grasshoppers to eat up your crop. Really, I am cheating because the plants aren't exposed to the same elements! I would fail miserably, I think, if I had to garden "for-real"!!

Dalyn, I need you to send me your address, by the way

Dalyn, thanks for looking at my etsy store. It's still pretty new and I'm needing a lesson from you on blogging too...marketing is something I put on the back burner due to all of the chores to be done, ya know? You are indeed the "queen" of this!

I would enjoy putting on a workshop sometime once I get my head above water here or better yet, maybe a barter day of "you teach me/I'll teach you"? I think that would be fun to share ideas. I have given several and they are fun...and in fact, I've been pondering that idea but I haven't found too many of us from Yakima to Eburg although I know Rene has quite an outfit going down in Prosser area. That's just too far for me to travel most days. I do love dyeing wool...it's always an adventure!

I am almost afraid to come take a peek at the pups because you know what will happen...it's kind of nice being down to 2 pet dogs even though the one is really old. I have 2 working dogs, a LGD and my herding dog. It seems we're dog poor but we do love our dogs and love to take them riding in the hills with us.

I did try to find some pics of your pups on your blog but only saw one pup when it was very new and the mama. Is there a particular post I should be looking for or will you post new pictures? Thanks!

Zan, I just left a comment on your blog! YOu are amazing...you are a better gardner than me with the little you have to work with. I have 11 acres to mess around on and can't grow much more than weeds! Good for you!

I just visited your etsy shop, and those felt purses are gorgeous! I don't have sheep, but Iwould still love to watch the process you go through to do that...maybe you could let a few of us Ykaima Farm Girls come watch you dosome work?

The little blue purse with the white flower has my name on it! Maybe if you look at puppies I could buy that from you and skip the shipping costs if you bring it? Love what you are doing...I have a friend with a few sheep in Brewster ho wants to learn some of your skills.

You know, their mamma does herd the goats for us, and we didn't train her for this...it's just natural. The dad looked to be Austrailian shepherd too. They are a mix of ausie, border, heeler maybe....and who knows! The mamma is gentle, lets the cats eat from her bowl, and yet will round up the goats when we are trying to catch a wild one or round up loose ones. Amazing to think she just knows to help like.

The brown ones have blue eyes *U* 3 girls and 3 boys. Come take a look!

Dalyn - are these working dogs as in herding? I'll check out the blog and take a peek. We lost 2 dogs this year and a 14-year old's days are numbered (he's hobbling around but seems happy and gets a pill everyday to make it through).

Hey Miss Dalyn! Haha, the fact that they are mushy and sweet will scare off any die-hard New Yorker!

How are you? I wish you were closer! I am doing a little art doll business (www.wildatheartart.blogspot.com)...left the vet's office after many years...but no new work

The economy is crazy right now.

Big Hugs!
