I have been doing a little research on this particular breed and have fallen in love with them. Many of my American Cockers are getting up there in age and I am thinking of getting a new spaniel breed - Does anyone have one and what can you tell me?

I think my cocker Doris is pregnant - last time around, Oprah fooled me and was not pregnant - but I think Doris is and she will be due for New Years - she is my best mom!

Well, aren't they just adorable?! I never heard of water spaniels and so I just had to look them up. They pretty much look like cocker spaniels but with curly hair. The site I looked them up on said that they are rare and only about 3000 exist at any given time. That probably makes them expensive. And they are pretty much all located in the Great Lakes Region as that is where the breed developed. So, while I don't have any first hand information, I did learn something today!
