I felt sooo bad. I donned Olivia in this new Jacket, supposedly to keep her fleece clean but also to keep her dry, since sometimes the bigger goats kick her out of the barn. We put it on her, it fit...so far so good. Well Saturday we had a craft fair and were late getting home, so when I went to feed them Sunday morning, Olivia had gotten herself hooked on the fence with her new jacket. It had rained all night, and she was wet and (needless to say) unhappy. Thank goodness, I got her dried off and fed, and she seems fine now. I'm going to start calling her Elmer, since she seems to get stuck to everything! I've got pics on my blog if you want to check her out!

I will give Olivia a hug, Tracy! I know...I have a girl llama who is just like you say..soooo spoiled. She is the most "people oriented" llama, but she is always getting into trouble and then giving me that "WHAT????" attitude! Better than TV any day! :)

Goats are just too FUNNY! I have 20 Nigerians and boy are they a handful! It seems like my FRIENDLIEST girls (and my 3 bucks) are the most mischievious. I guess they think that since they're "In good with MOM" they can get away with more! When they get out, those few are the HARDEST to get back in. They look at me as if to say, "Yeah, right, WHATEVER!" and keep doing whatever it is they're doing (usually involves CHEWING!) So I know what you mean about the Ulcer Diana. Despite all that, don't you just LOVE them? Give Olivia a HUG for me will ya? ~~ Tracy

Thanks Janice...I'll tell Olivia you said so! I was just down there giving them some vinegar water and she got stuck in between a closing gate and a barn wall. I swear that girl is going to give me an ulcer...but I love her so :D !!

Well, Olivia is just the cutest! I want Olivia! And her coat! She looks like a million! If Paris Hilton had a goat, she'd look like Olivia! :D In fact, if Paris Hilton WAS a goat, she'd be lucky to look as stylish as Olivia! LOL!

How funny...almost like fainting goats. I saw a video on the internet the other day that was just hysterical. Apparently it's neurological (not sure on that spelling :) )

Hmm.... There is another thing that Grandpa sheep used to do too, now that I think about it. When he got upset or scared, especially when we were trying to move him from one pen to another, he would drop like a stone. All four legs would go out from under him and he'd just lay there like he was dead.

He has a DAUGHTER that does that too! My son was trying to catch her for me one time and he had to tackle her. She went down underneath him and when he stood up she just laid there. He goes "Mom!! I think she's DEAD!!!" The look on his face was priceless! He really thought he'd killed her! I could see her eyes moving though, and I remembered well her father's little trick, so I knew she was ok. She lays down like that every time we have to move her. So maybe those things ARE hereditary.

Tracy, that is so funny. I'll have to contact the farm where we purchased her to see if that does "run in the family"! She doesn't seem to dumb in other areas but she sure does get herself in predicaments with fences! Thanks for the encouragement! :)

I have a sheep just like your Olivia! Maybe they were separated at birth (I know, I know, one's a goat, one's a sheep! but it was just a thought..) This ewe drives me NUTS! Every time I turn around she's got her HEAD stuck somewhere. In fact, I just popped that big head loose 2 days ago from between the bars of the gate we have at the back of the barn to keep the critters out of the hay (yeah right! Yesterday I found THREE horses in there!). Usually it's the fence, but she's not too particular WHERE she gets it stuck. Funny, but I think it's a FAMILY trait. Her grandpa was NOTORIOUS for getting his head stuck all over the place too!

Diana, I am glad Olivia is okay! I think I like Olivia better, but Elmer might be more appropriate!
