Since moving, my kitty collection has jumped from one lone feline to three of the critters, and I can't find the litter I was buying back in Idaho anywhere around here. Everything new that I have tried can't keep up with three cats, and my little house smelled like cat SO bad!! *gags* I have tried a very expensive brand of silica litter, Feline Pine regular, Feline Pine clumping... and now that I've put clumping clay litter in there, the odor is completely gone, but I only did this as last resort because I am allergic to the clay dust, and now my allergies are bothering me! I was using a really cheap, generic silica litter that I bought at Walmart, and it was truly a miracle for the price...contained the odor wonderfully, and didn't bother my sinuses. Alas...must be an Idaho thing only.

So do any of you ladies have suggestions for a natural, scoopable litter that is TOP NOTCH for odor control?? I am about ready to admit defeat with the cat odor, or just deal with the sinus issues, but either way, life needs improvement, lol.

I use a brand I get at Pet Quarters called The World's Best Cat Litter. It is made from corn, so it is biodegradable, weighs much less than the clumping brands (though it does clump) and as long as you sift through it every day, it is much better than anything else I have ever tried....

Jodi- Have some one find the same brand in Idaho. Usually it will say "made at such and such" location. Perhaps you could buy direct?
