I guess I ought to add that the horse in the photos (with the rider) is not my Sandy; thats Torri on Dakota, who's a fine looking Quarter Horse.

Connie, I spent 15 years horseless. I rode a handful of times, but not much. I started Sandy earlier this spring and he's turning into an excellent mountain horse. He's small, though, so can't really pack a lot of weight. Small as in slender build, although not overly tall, either. Anyway...don't give up the thought of climbing back in the saddle! Come on down to WA and I'll haul you up this hill
