I have 2 calves and every time they get done with their milk bucket the bull sucks on the heifer's poor little ears. He will not leave her alone. So I read somewhere to put hot sauce on the suckees ears. That should cure the sucker of doing that. Well, I didn't have hot sauce but I do still have jalapnio peppers. So I picked a few this morning before I fed them, cut them in half and while they were drinking their milk, I rubbed the peppers on Cow Baby's ears. It sure works fast! All it took was a few licks on one ear and he was burning!! But I also noticed poor little Cow Baby shaking her head. I got to thinking that it is probably burning her ears. So I got a spray bottle and washed them off as good as I could. It was funny watching them. But I'm sure it is pretty painful, too. Hopefully it will work and I won't have to do this again.

I just went to check on them and they're up the hill eating grass. So they're fine.

Oh my STARS!!! It is a wonder that poor cat didn't electrocute himself!!!! I am so afraid that they will fry themselves though that I have to unplug everything when I either leave or go to bed. The lady at the pet store told me to wrap the cords in rubber aquarium tubing. I think the pepper would have a better effect.

My first cat once chewed on electrical cords until one popped really loud right in his left ear. That ended that. However, weeks later, I was sitting in the den and the lights were dimming, and dimming. I thought that maybe there was bad weather on the way. About two hours later, I went in our bedroom to get something, and on the back wall I noticed something black. That crazy cat (which was my most favorite cat of all), had backed up on the electrical outlet and pissed (excuse the word) into it!!!!!!! That act had actually sorched the wall!!!! Henry Dragon (the cat) walked funny for a few days!!!!

Do you suppose this would also work for cats that like to chew on electrical cords? I can't count the number of cords I have replaced. I am so afraid of them frying themselves that I make sure everything is unplugged.

We had a woodchuck who liked to chew on the window trim of our house. Someone had given my husband a jar of "Hotter Than Hell" habanero pepper sauce. I put some on the trim and waited for Mr. Woodchuck to come calling. A couple of nibbles were enough for him!

I have poured hot sauce in my trash can to surprise the dog who likes to steal trash! It works well, I also coated my chair legs in hot sauce when the puppy was chewing. And my husband makes a mean chicken wing with it! so many uses!
