I know there was a dog topic months ago, but I just love talking about pets. If you have a pic, post it for us to see. Here is Jasper and Baby Owen earlier this summer.

He's a great dog - lets the grandkids climb all over him. His favorite occupation is "yaking" at my sheep through the fence....they ignore him of course!

Sheri, what a handsome dog!!!! My uncle had one like that when I was a kid. What a sweet dog he was too.

And my dog sleeps with me too. He is my back or foot warmer.

Here's mine...

I have a dog and three cats.

IMG]http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg188/tracyward_2007/IMG_0103-1.jpg[/IMG]

Katie, my lab cross...she looks bigger than she is. She's only 27 lbs!

And my two kittens, sister. Mittens (gray) and Ember who looks just like our older cat Ash, whom I can't find a picture of.

I love looking at these pics.

I'm listening to the Dianne Rehm show on NPR and she is interviewing John Katz about his dog Izzy and his new book Izzy and Lenore. Mr. Katz is a very interesting man.

This is my baby, Angus McEwen.

He is truly the best dog. I really am blessed with him.
(some days I like him more than I do my kids! )

This is my Penny the Pooch. She will be 11 years old in March. I don't know what I would do without her. She keeps me company with her antics.

I have a new posting on my blog of one of sweet four legged family members. I guess I never consider any of my 3 Great Pyrenees or the other members of my farm pets - I think rather I am their shared pet.

His name is Sylvester but you can also see some of my other family members.

Jenny, there is nothing better than a lab and he has been the best. He raised this Jack from a puppy. It is so much fun watching them.

to attach a picture, type in [ img]www. your picture url here [ /img]

Remove spaces and it will "pull" in the picture from where ever it is posted on the internet. Also, if you use Photobucket, they have the code already written out under the picture, just look for the bracketed [ ] img code.

I look at Mona and all I can think about is the many times my mother served boiled cow tongue. Still gives me the willies!

I adore Mona, Jenny, she is just wonderful and her tongue up the nose trick is a winner
I have seven rescued cats, several of which live outside, Honeybear, Thistle, Bandit, Mystra, Bissa, Kiki and my little one Tia, We have an old Basset mix named Tiki-Bean and a Pomeranian named Pook, plus one unnamed 4 foot Ball python, who is a very mellow and good natured sort of snake.

In the FAQ's at the top, you can learn how. Go to photobucket.com ans sign up, it's easy to upload there, then copy and paste the box that says IMG.

Aunt Jenny, you need to copyright Mona and have products that are Mona approved or something like that. She is practically the farmgirl mascot ;)

Yeah, but can Mona hang her head out of the car window? No, seriously Mona is adorable! You just want to wrap your arms around that neck and give her a hug! Also adorable are Jasper & Owen, Nora & Skye, Ruby, George, Gracie and Miss Kitty. One of these days I'll have to figure out this photo thing and send you pictures of Hobbs, my little Cairn.
