Hi Girls! I need some helpful ideas for keeping my Silver Appleyard duckies happy over winter. They live in a heated room with the banties and one slightly crabby bunny. They can come and go as they please when the weather is nice enough, but spend a lot of time making sloppy wet messes inside when the weather is hateful - we live in Minnesota. Any great ideas for bedding choices, feeder or waterer choices, or things to look out for? These guys don't work for their keep very hard and are mostly for snuggling, but we love them!

I used straw and kept them in a heated coop with the chickens. I didn't leave any splashing water for them for the winter just the water in the chicken trough. They were ok I would get eggs every day and then when spring came around set the swimming pool pond back up and every one was happy.
