I just love baby goats. Last February my biggest boer doe (a beautiful huge lady with rotten people skills- she likes goats but no small ones and people.... well, not so much) joined the herd of boers at a friend's farm. HIs buck and my Angelina became great pals and..... this weekend we're all waiting for the babies to arrive. If there's a baby doe..... she'll join my herd next spring and I am so excited. We're already looking for names starting with A..... (and with a name like Angelina everybody said we'd have to go for Vivienne and Knox!)

Nadine is Farmgirl Sister #262 (the only one in Europe so far!) and she blogs at http://nadsknittingblog.blogspot.com/ and knits on Ravelry as Nadknitblog and on Plurk she is NadKnitBlog too!

We love them so much. Great entertainment country style. They are so smart. Figuring out things you give them to play with. Keeps them thinking. When I get home from work, I call out Cody's name & he always answers me. We have 8 now, 3 generations, I just love them.
Being the youngest he is learning to push back. Sometimes the Old Queen (his grandmother) can be rough on him. but he is faster. Grace

He is adorable. I have two pigmies as well, Rufas and Becky. We just got them a wooden spool that the local power company gave us. Thye jump off and on and run around it. We also turn it on its rolling end and they stand with their hooves (hand parts), their feet hooves are walking the group and make it roll foward. They look like circus goats!

Thank you, he really is a keeper.
Just the sweetest little guy. He knows his name too. If I can't see him & I call his name, he always calls back to me & comes a running. Grace
