Our 2 yr old English Mastiff passed away last night of what the vet thinks is congestive heart failure. We are very sad. She was a great dog.

I am so sorry to hear about yoour dog. I have had pets all my life & it is never easy when you lose one. We got a Scottie three years ago from a rescue society & they said he was about 8 then... I can't imagine what I would do without my baby!

Thanks so much everyone. I really appreciate your kind words and support. I'm amazed at how empty the house feels without her...

I'm so sorry for the loss of your fur baby. They really are a part of the family and it leaves a hole in our hearts when they pass. May the memories that you have of your pet bring you peace and healing.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet companion. Those big sweethearts are so hard to let go of because they take up so much of our love, time and kibble. Just know that your sweet one is always with you and when the tears have dried you will be left with only good memories of the years you shared. Big hugs from this lady and her three Great Pry's. You are loved and cared for in our hearts.

I'm very sorry, Kim...it's difficult at any time, old or young, but when they're young, you least expect it.

Thanks jpbluesky and Karen. We had only had her a short time but she had really become a member of the family in that time.

Karen, that's how it started with our dog....hope yours gets better soon!

I am so sorry you lost your puppy. Our family lost an 18 year old bichon five years ago, and we still miss him. It is hard to lose a pet.
