Here is Maxwell. He is going to be 8 weeks on June 11.

He has a hard time staying cool, and really likes to pretend we are in the arctic, but this is the closest we can get...

You hit it right on the button, Christine. My Lil was alpha from the time she entered the world, I think. She was tough on biting and growling and rambunctious (that latter part I can take from a pup) but she was also willful on top of that. We immediately enrolled in puppy school and did intermediate obedience and it improved her dominance issues immensely.

She did get much better with age (Don't worry!!!), and I loved her immensely. We just had some things to work on, like all pets. Siberians and most other breeds have deep-rooted breed "tendencies" that you sometimes cannot break. To Lily, fences were merely suggestions, she was a digger, and she buried as much as she dug.

She, like your little man, was a working dog, so the more occupied you can keep him, the better. When Lily was bored, she took it out on the house

My mom always said, "I'd loved that dog as much as I wanted to kill her!" But we wouldn't have traded her for anything.

What a beautiful puppy! He is so great, what fun to see him bounding about and cooling his toes. Those blue eyes are dazzlers! Karin

why was she a bad puppy? did she turn out to be better as she grew up? he is really really rambunctious, and gets carried away with biting. we are crate training him and he is doing really well. my husband is working on that whole alpha male thing, we've been reading lots about how to be the dominant dog.

Oh my, Christine....that little ball of fur is adorable and you are SOOO in for it!!! My first pup was a siberian named Lily (she died at 14 and was my BEST friend) but she was the WORST puppy :0

The only thing that saved that little girl time and again were those baby blues! Maxwell makes me miss her VERY much. Best of luck and enjoy him!
