So I have a question. we decided to get some eggs on ebay and so far have had successful packaging and only 2 eggs broken of three dozen or so eggs over 4 breeds. I got our shipment of 12 silkie eggs and she packaged 2 extra, giving us 14. 7 of the 14 arrived totally shattered and this is the first shipment I have gotten that the eggs were not packaged in an egg carton. HEr listing says no replacements, but I feel it's almost a rip off that they came so damaged and not packaged how all of the other fertile eggs have arrived.

what is your experience on ebay regarding fertile hatching eggs and what do you think regarding the above situation regarding my silkies?

I bought 3 silkie eggs, she threw in 2 more and we hatched 3. I was very happy with the process. Although silkies are such good Moms, they made it easy for me. *S*

I was going to say they SHOULD replace them!!! We sold eggs for 2 years and only had a couple of mishaps, one i replaced the whole dozen as she said they didnt hatch so who knows??
I am glad she is sending a replacement, you have to really pkg them strong as they get tumbled around in shipping that is for sure!!
Good luck hatching~~

YAY! She is going to send replacements anyhow given the number of broken eggs! How good of her!
