Posted - Apr 05 2008 : 8:36:41 PM Hey Leslie, you're just a hop skip and a jump from me--I live in Florence, basically. Ever come up this way to shop?
My godmother was born in Williamstown and lived on 22 (or snake road as we called it) right across from the Williamstown Cemetery...she's gone now, but I sure loved going to the Little Shrimp for footlong chilidogs and chocolate malts. I know it's gone now :(
Welcome to the board!!!!! I'd love to talk more...we're also having a Kentucky girl get together in May--I believe it's the 17th, in Berea, Kentucky. Maybe I can swing by and pick you up on my way down :) We're just going to get together, super casual like, shop and eat, farmgirl style!
Farmgirl Sister #80, thanks to a very special farmgirl from the Bluegrass..."She was built like a watch, a study in balance ... with a neck and head so refined, like a drawing by DaVinci"... NY Newsday sportswriter Bill Nack describing filly, Ruffian. http://www.buyhandmade.org/ |
