Sky wasn't always thrilled that I brought Nora home from the hospital. In fact, I think she was kind of offended! For most of the past year, she has blatantly ignored Nora and silently suffered while Nora pulled on her fur, crawled over her and generally pestered her.

Nora has always loved Sky, and some days just by calling Sky over, it would stop her crying and make her laugh.

Now, Nora has learned how to "share" food. Oh my gosh! It's so funny to watch Nora feed Sky. And oddly enough- Sky has warmed up considerably to Nora! She doesn't give me the "I'm suffering" eyes anymore, but just waits for a treat to fall from the chubby little baby hands!

Sounds like Sky's patience has been rewarded. How sweet!

It is an adjustment...The first night we brought Charlie home, we stopped to get Church's chicken. Well, Chloe, our boxer, had been a little ignored because I spent 3 days in the hospital. Hubby fixed us our plates when we got home and was feeding Charlie while I took a shower. I came out and for some reason, Chloe was under the side table, looking guilty. Then...she slowly CRUNCHED down on a whole chicken leg she had stolen off my hubby's plate. I was mad and cracking up at the same time. It was kinda like when you kid catches you eating the cookies!!

They are best friends now and yes, the sharing the food is hilarious!!

Cheers,
Heather
