Posted - Feb 24 2008 : 11:00:25 AM This morning I looked down our wooded hill into the snow covered prairie area to see 5 deer sleeping under a set of cedar trees. I wished for a telescopic lens for my camera. They were 200+ yards away but the binoculars brought them close enough to see. It's been a year since we have seen the deer on our property. We've seen tracks but not them until yesterday when my DH saw two and this morning there was 5 laying down resting peacefully. We watched them for over an hour wake up and mosey on their way. The beauty of nature, God's handy work. I might not be so happy come spring when they eat my flowers but for now they are more then welcome.
