Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 6:01:07 PM I saw a bird had died outside our building and didn't think too much about it. Sometimes a hawk will chase them into the building or maybe the cold was too much.
As I was shoveling the snow again, I look over and see Sky-Dog eating something...She had found the bird! EWWW! I wouldn't mind so much if I had known how it died. As in, was it healthy? Ick.
Dogs can be so gross sometimes!

Posted - Jan 30 2008 : 6:00:43 PM Mine are relentless eaters of chicken "doodies" (my kids came up with that one) and anything else decaying or otherwise foul. Always makes me think of Lucy from the Peanuts cartoon: "I've been kissed by a dog! I have dog germs! Get hot water! Get some disinfectant! Get some iodine!" Lots of dog love at our house, but NO dog kisses!

Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 7:54:06 PM our dogs like to deliver deer parts that hunters leave behind in the woods on our door step. Nothing beats walking out the door for work on the morning and being greeted by a half decaying deer leg!

Posted - Jan 29 2008 : 7:35:03 PM Dogs can be great companions but yeah they can be extremely gross. I'd share my story but I don't want people yakking all over the place.
I love deadlines. I especially like the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by. ~anon |
