Posted - Jan 09 2008 : 09:19:26 AM Every member of my family kept coming up to the computer screen saying, "aaawwww, how cute". I'm sure the gentleman who found him will have no trouble finding a home....he'll probably have trouble choosing from the mass of animal lovers that are contacting him.

You HAVE to keep him! Look at that face! And then write story's of his adventures...which will turn into a children's book and then a series of books....and then we can all say....we knew him when! LOL I'm also keeping that face as my screen saver! I can't help but fall in love!
Ahhhhhhhh. What a darling!

Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 08:21:40 AM I with you Sherone there is nothing better. It reminds me of my first year and I had to deliver a lamb - my son was reading the book outloud to me as I rolled up my sleve and stuck my hand in, all the while saying "I am so sorry, I am so sorry" to this ewe who was in distress. As the delivery was difficult and lamb came out backwards and took several seconds before I could get her to breathe. After getting her to nurse and stand on her own I reached up to pull myself off my poor knees when I realized my wet, sticky hand was now frozen to the metal pen. As I looked at my hand, then my son, then my hand we burst out laughing so hard that I thought I would wet my pants. My son said "Well they don't have anything in the book about dumb people freezing their hands to the barn - do you want me to go look that up in the other book?" After he ran to the house and got a kettle of hot water and we got my hand off the pen we sat for hours gazing at the mircle we helped bring into the world. Life on the Funny Farm is one adventure after another Stay warm all and give that little one a kiss from me.

Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 07:51:21 AM He is sooo cute......but you girls realize he will grow up into a sheep, right? *L* (Sorry, my mind is going back to waking up on a veeerrrryyyy cold Wyoming morning, trudging to the barn in knee high snow, kneeling in sheep poop, sticking my arm up a ewe to pull a lamb.) Come to think of it, those were the best times of my life. Why do I want to go back to that? Hmmmmmm.....I must be a farmgirl!

Posted - Jan 05 2008 : 9:53:48 PM When I lived in England, we had one on the farm aptly named "Lambie" by the three girls. He always had the muddiest feet, well, because, it was always raining in England! He slept in the hay with the border collies and wore a tartan ribbon with a bell. I've never forgotten him.

Posted - Jan 05 2008 : 3:08:25 PM my hubby was like awww wouldn't you like one of those in the backyard? And I am like..ooh yeah I would...and hubby was like" hmm wonder where we could find a miniature variety..and what would we do with it?"..ha. like I said..I love that guy..he thinks like I do..ha. but..we do live in the city..so..I can't see getting one of these little gals. although just around the corner from me there is a goat farm of about 200 goats that have been grandfathered in..it has been an attraction for over 30 yrs and the land is zoned non agricultural but no one says anything about it. folks enjoy stopping and watching and feeding the goats...ha. but..I can see it now..the minute I get a baby lamb my neighbors would really complain.aww well..I'll just have to be patient and maybe one day..one day..I can have all the critters I want.
