I have several sheep and fiber goats for sale. Email me privately if interested.

Shetland ram, fathered nice lambs, about 4 years old, $100 Great fiber!

Light brown wethered sheep, small build, looks like a donkey, very tame, born spring 2007, $50-(this photo is a couple of months old)

(Will post photos of these later.)
Brown ewe, born spring 2006, hopefully expecting this spring, $75 Her father is the Shetland so she has great fiber!

Brown ewe, born spring 2007, hopefully expecting this spring, $75

One wethered ram for meat, $75 each. Fed no commercial feed, just grass, hay, and grain.

All are extremely spoiled with the exception of the one raised for meat. They love animal crackers.

I live in central Illinois.

Amy, where does your family live? Yes, you probably could haul sheep in a suburban. We hauled a llama and a lamb in a Honda Element. You should have seen the looks we got when the llama's head poked out the sunroof.

And Gwen...you are in Hamel. Oh my gosh! That is just 15 minutes from me.

Lynn, this is too weird, but I'm in HAMEL!! Jeez, you're just down the road from me, and the sheep are absolutely gorgeous. I'm in the process of fixing fences, the barn, etc., but would be extremely interested in a few. Let my know, I'll email you privately.

There are a lot of folks who'll ship. Ron Keener is pretty well known and makes a lot of trips. I think he's got a yahoo list that gives his schedule if you're interested.

There are animal shipping agencies if you are interested. My friends at the ranch use them to ship horses down to quarentine in Texas before they get shipped over seas. I will ask them what the company's name is.

I was just talking today about how much I would love to get some sheep. Do you have any idea how far you are from Russellville, Ky. I am about 45 miles north of Nashville, Tn. Are you in the southern part of Illinois by any chance?
