I posted a new pic of the week old puppies today on my Schnauzer Page. If you would like to take a look here is the link. Hugs Amy

We lost Runty this evening after a long day and a half. I was bottle feeding as well as having my dog lay down and nurse. For some reason my sweet little Runty just did not make it. I held him all day long except when I had to take the others to the vet to get their tails and dewclaws done. What a sad long heart wrenching day for all of us. My 5 year old is soooo sad. Runty was sweet. please keep my kiddos and myself in mind we are pretty sad.

We had puppies this morning. Emmaline had a realatively quick and easy delivery. She started around 9 this morning and was done by 11:15. she deliverd 6 puppies who seem pretty healthy. There is one smaller guy, but he seems vigorous and has eaten twice while I was watching. Runty(not a permanet name) is also one of the more active puppies, so for that I am thankful. If you would like to see the puppies please visit my blog and click on the Awwwww Schnauzer link at the top right of the page.

Hugs
Amy

Hey all thanks for you kind words. I am still sad about poor little runty, but the rest of the puppies are fat and sassy. So thank goodness for that!! I love watching the little piglets, these guys are feisty. I have already had one who is pulliny herself out of the box. Good grief 4 days old and already running amuck, LOL

Have a good day ladies

That's awful when the little ones can't make it. I'm so sorry about that....

Ohno, I am so sorry about your pup. Sometimes these things happen to very little puppies, but I'm sure the loss is no less. My heart goes out to you

I want one! They are so darling. I had a part schnauzer in the late 70's. His name was Max and he was the love of my life. The smartest dog I ever had. Everytime I see a schnauzer I think of him. Your babies are so cute!!
