Posted - Nov 11 2007 : 10:45:20 AM I had to share this picture with all you gals. I spent a few days at a convention with my hubby last week. The resort that we stayed on has a Wildlife Academy. The man who runs it tries to educate people about responsible pet ownership and the perils and dangers associated with owning wild animals. A lot of thier animals were once owned by people who bought exotic pets and then could not keep them. They run an exotic pet rescue. Part of their exhibit, however, is the farmyard petting zoo...complete with all sorts of baby animals. I was able to bottle feed a baby zebra.....what a thrill and a bunch of piglets. I just had to share the piglet picture.

Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 7:07:49 PM I have always wanted a piglet. However, one of the neighboring farms has a bunch of pot-bellies and they run amuck....digging up neighboring yards, etc....so I think we will skip owning a pig, ourselves......but how can you resist those adorable piglets??

Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 7:06:02 PM how cute.. i think the piglet would have had to have gone home with me.. of course my roommates would blow a gasket.. although they tease me about buying me a pig all the time since i collect 'em.

Posted - Nov 11 2007 : 11:03:47 AM I just love piglets. So cute! We have a similar organization here called Noah's Ark. They do amazing work. I agree with Jonni- I think Piggy-winkle would have come home with me. :)
