Some of you might have read that I am volunteering at our Humane Society Large Animal Rescue Ranch. Well yesterday, I had to give a billy goat a bath. Not really a problem, except he didn't have your typical goat bleat. It was more of a loud BLAAAAACH!

It sounded JUST like my stepdaughter as a child when she was throwing up! She hated to throw up - but when she did, everyone was aware! I was soaping, rinsing and remembering with every BLAAACH!

Life is never dull on the ranch!

I've learned that it takes as much time and energy to wish as it does to plan.

I have a mother and son pair who sound like a child screaming. I'm used to it, but when I first got the mom, I felt horrible every time I heard it!

I sure wish we had a farm like that around, BLAAAACH and all! I'd be there in a heartbeat!

Good work, good fun.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry, but I had to laugh at that one! I am sure it was more distressing for you than it was for the poor Billie!
