Posted - Sep 20 2007 : 09:26:08 AM Our new pup needs a name. He is American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Mostly Staffie. He is sweet and funny and loves to be loved on. But nothing I can think of fits him. He is a dark Brindle. I had another staff that was a lighter brindle and he looks so much like T. So will you all help me? Thanks. MB

What a beauty he is, too! Such a perfect little swipe of white down his nose.
Let's see... Some of my favorite names for dogs, especially pitties:
Finn(egan)--our pittie's name Clyde and Lark, friend's of our's have these names for their pits Now, for "T"'s: Teague Tonka (one at our shelter was named this--he lives in Indy now) Theo Talbot Toby Thaddeus Tate

Posted - Sep 24 2007 : 08:25:41 AM Or- here is a game that I learned when I was pregnant (but be warned it can take a long time) If you are having a hard time deciding on a name, what you do is put your favorites on their own sticky note then put them on the fridge. Slowly as the sticky gets old on the sticky notes, they will drop off- the last one standing wins!

Posted - Sep 21 2007 : 10:01:06 AM Such great names. I do like so many. Maybe Jack because we have a dog named Jake and they both come running to Jake. It is so hard to find one that fits him. Thanks and keep 'em coming. MB
