Today we had to euthanize my best horse--Galant Ambush. she was a good horse. She was 22 years old--up there for a horse--but she never had a sick day in her life. She had a broken shoulder. It all started with a cut on her neck that infected the bone which weakened it and caused the break. All this happened within this month. So fast! The vet cut open her leg/shoulder after she put her down and there was the break and then she found pus in the bone marrow--so there ya go. she called it Osteomyelitis.
She was my horse and used to be a gaming horse so Kylee was barrel racing and gaming her. They were just clicking as a good team and now this. Too Sad. MB

I've been on vacation all week, and hated to hear about the loss of your friend--it's very difficult to lose them, but moreso when you're not ready for it.

Poor girl, she's out of pain now, though.

Thinking of you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your horse. She's very pretty and didn't look 22 years old.
