Which type of pain reliever is it that dogs can have? Asprin, right? But not tylenol? Or is it the other way around?

Enteric coated aspirin is what you should give to a dog. Because of the coating it does not upset their stomach.

If you use asprin then you should use buffered asprin. Not Buffrin...just plain old generic buffered asprin. My dog is about 30# so I give 1/2 tablet for various aches and pains when he needs it.

Janet is right...tylenol is very toxic to dogs.

I am almost sure it is tylenol they can't have. I destroys thier liver. But I'm onlly 95 % sure.
