Hello, ladies. Janice and Corrine asked for info on how to help their sweet babies, so I thought I'd post generally and let anyone who wants this information get it as well.

I've been a professional animal communicator for over 30 years (egads, how can that be? I'm not even 30 yet...cough) and I've learned a lot.

First of all, Janice, you're right. Your cat is more than just a cat. Animals have the same souls that we have. We are all part of the Whole, God, the Universe, whatever you want to call It. In spirit, when we decide we want to do something, learn a lesson, help someone else (or mankind in general), have a certain experience, etc. we make decisions. Spirit is pure energy and can express in whatever way it wants to. We choose all the circumstances of our births - who, what, when, where, why and we choose the vehicle for our soul which would be the most effective for the situation. Sometimes it's human, sometimes animal, sometimes both at once (spirit is limitless).

So, that soul in that furry little (or big wild) body is just like yours and should be treated with respect and love. to an animal, dying is another phase of life - sometimes you're in a body and sometimes you're not (I hate to use "circle of life" but that's really what it is). They do not want to prolong the process artificially, and sometimes need help in completing it. That's where you come in. Your pet will let you know when it is time. You will feel it in your heart.

(Animals communicate in three ways: they send each other feelings, they send each other pictures, and animals who are around people a lot, like pets, pick up the words used in the home, which is also how kids learn to speak). She will send you a feeling, a "knowing" that it is time if she needs to.

Now for the hard science part: One of the basic laws of physics is that everything in the Universe vibrates according to its own denisity and frequency. This means that everything is made up of vibration. Each vibration has a color associated with it. (if you want to know what they are, let me know). The vibration of peacefulness and healing is blue, which is why you see blue in hospitals a lot, in jails where they want people to be calm, around the Blessed Mother, and so on. These things are not accidents.

The wonderful and exciting thing is that we can use the vibrations to help us better our lives and the lives of others. This is what I call "Color Vibrational Healing". You are using the actual vibration itself which is much more powerful than anything in the physical world. I have seen miracles happen when people use the healing vibration sincerely. We are not looking for physical healing here but the same process applies. If you want to learn how to do a physical healing, let me know.

What you do is visualize your pet (or person - I've healed people as well with this technique), surround them with beautiful blue light. See it go through them, in them, around them. And at the same time, speak to them directly and tell them what comes into your heart like, "I'm surrounding you with God's peace. There is nothing to fear. Peace and comfort are surrounding you even as we speak". Give thanks for a peaceful passing. Do this for as long as your intuition tells you. Do it often. If you can get others to help, the effect is cumulative. (When Jesus said, "Where there are two or more gathered in my name, he meant "using my teachings". This is part of his teachings.

At the very least, you will bring peacefulness to your little angel, and to yourself. You will see the agitated become calm, you will know that you have done everything you could to assist your beloved friend, and that in itself is a gift from God.

If you have any questions, let me know. You should know, too, that they come back to us. Because their life spans are so much shorter than ours, they can come back twice or three times during our lives. (if you want more info, let me know) Death is not the end. It is only a time of transition from one state of being to another. God is so good!

Janice, I'm not surprised that your kitty came to you in dreams. Dreams are the easiest way for spirit to reach us because we are in altered states already. So when you have dreams about pets or people in which you are together, share a conversation, etc. know that those are real and another gift of God.

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

Maryjane, huh? I have mail? Forgive me, I don't understand.

Jeanette, please email me with your email address and I'll get you on the list.

OK, kids, today's story is about Chronos, whom I met in one of the Santa Barbara stables I have clients in. He's from Holland and he's a huge (I mean really big) very black stallion. He's gorgeous and he knows it. The first thing he said to me when we were introduced was, "Of course, you know that I am a champion." And then he kept working the word "champion" into the conversation. He was a riot, but he didn't mean to be. He is the vainest animal I have ever met but it's part of his charm. I call him the Mick Jagger of the stables, because he reminds me so much of him.

Every mare in the stables had a crush on him. You could see it the way they stared at him and when I talked with them, they were all giggly and teen-crush-ish when they talked about him (which they did a lot). I heard from another client recently that he's still winning honors. I'm not surprised!

Tune in tomorrow for another story!

love,
P

Patricia, please put me in your mailing list. I have already read some of your newsletters and find them entertaining and helpful. Courage, what a dog! It never fails to amaze me the depth of cruelty that we humans can inflict on animals. I believe that animals (especially our companions) were given to us by a benevolent and loving creator and it is our responsibility to care for them with love and kindness. Yes, more stories, please!

OK, Luzy and Jeanette, there are some stories on my website. Look in the archived newsletters. I"ll be sending a new newsletter pretty soon so let me know if you want to be on my mailing list.

In the meantime, I would tell you about Courage. One of the rescue places I work with is New Leash on Life, a California based operation that takes in, rehabilitates and adopts out dogs. One of these dogs is Courage, a beautiful white German shepherd, who had been badly abused. For one thing, his owners (not "companions") had wired his jaws shut with barbed wire so he couldn't bark. His face was a map of scars. When they had healed him, called him Courage, and loved him and trained him (the owner of New Leash is a dog trainer and a wonderful man) they adopted him to a very nice family who already had a doggie, a lovely lady, to keep him company.

I was living in L.A. at the time and New Leash called and said that they would like me to go see Courage and see how he felt now that they were going to have a human baby.

So I did. I always tell clients not to expect the animal to sit and look at me while we talked because animals communicate while they're doing whatever it is they're doing. You don't see two cats sitting down to tea to talk. Soooo, dontcha know, I came in and sat down and Courage came right over to me and spent the whole coversation sitting at my feet and looking up at me.

He moved me to tears. He loved his family deeply and sincerely and would do anything to stay with them. he already knew about the baby and was so excited he could hardly breathe. "My baby!" he kept saying"my baby!"

I sent him a picture of a human baby and he sent me a picture back of him sitting by the baby guarding her/him. He said he would take care of his baby and wanted to know when he/she would arrive.

Courage is one of my favorite clients. After an unspeakable beginning, he responded to the love and faith he was offered and excelled. He loved his canine lady companion and his family. When the baby came, he loved her too. He's still happily living in the San Fernando Valley.

If you kids are good, I'll tell you another story tomorrow. lol.

love,
Patricia

I second Luzy. I would love to read about your experiences. I love animals and always wish I can "hear" them. It's fascinating to read about people who are blessed with this ability.

I started one a couple of years ago, Luzy, but then a couple of others were published and really, does the world need another pet psychic book? But I do have some great stories!

I've already heard from a couple of farmgirls who say they're using the blue light and it's working. Nothing makes me happier. Corrine, let me know how you're doing and if anyone has questions or needs help, please let me know.

Just a funny aside: Sunday I went out to visit my latest charges, the Big Cats of the Wildcat Haven, a refuge for cougars, bobcats, and other big kitties that have been abused or are unwanted. They do a wonderful job and have a paradise there for the kitties. Their website is www.Wildcathaven.org.if you'd like to see those gorgeous cats.I'm going to do a fundraiser for them so I went out to talk about it and talk with the kitties. Well, dontcha know, while I was rubbing up one of the cougars, he was purring happily and rubbing his face against my hand, when he got a little rough and I ended up with a bite. No biggie. It was just a small one and he wasn't trying to hurt me. Occupational hazard, lol. Reminded me of what a horse in Santa Barbara told me once, "Humans are so fragile!"

patricia,
thanks so much for sharing this. i have put your blog on my favorites, and will take some time this week to read it.
i know i will have questions then, but just want to wait and see whats on the site before i bombard you with questions now.
as an occupational and music therapist i was privilidged to work with the elderly and many of my patients were terminal. i really learned alot from them about the dying process and how very spiritual it is. i think we miss alot of this in our society because we have set up ways to distance ourselves from this.
when my dad was dying, my mom and i took care of him at oour family home, we kept commenting on how it felt so much like the feeling you have in a house when you bring a new baby home.
any way, i will check in at your blog and talk with ya later.

love
fran

Jeanette, don't let other people bother you. You should hear what they say about ME, lol. This is a very young planet with mostly very young souls who are still being pulled through life kicking and screaming. They're still killing each other, for cryin' out loud. I can tell you beyond any shadow of doubt that animals have feeling and souls.

Jeanette and Merle, here is the process for healing and this works for anmals and people, too.

More scientific background: there are definite laws that regulate the universe (you can find them on my website - www.petreader.com in my past newsletters) and one of the basic is the law of attraction: like attracts like.

This means that what we think about, give our energy to, and believe is what we manifest. There are only two ways for human beings to react to any given situation. One is through love and the other is through fear. When we are not reacting to one, we are automatically reacting to the other. If you give energy to fear of something, you will manifest the very thing you are afraid of. The universe operates on this. You can't change it or get around it. Law is law.

So first of all you must absolutely KNOW that what you are doing is working (not will work - that puts it into the future where it will stay. The universe is literal. It takes what you say literally.)

So in this case you use your blue light and while you are surrounding your pet with the light, you say something to the effect of, "Right here and right now, I give thanks for my Kitty's abundant good health. I give thanks that each cell is operating as it should, that my pet is disease free and pain free. Thank you!" or words to that effect.

If there is a trouble spot (broken limb, tumors, whatever), laser that light right in there and give thanks that the treatment is working, that the medicines are working.

You must work on this diligently and with belief that it is working.

For example, someone brought my son and me (he's a pet psychic too) a puppy that was infected with parvo and was so sick he couldn't move. He was very close to death. We gathered everybody and set him on the grass with everybody gathered around. We acknowledged that God's will be done (and after all, what God would want a puppy to die of parvo?) and did a treatment. When we were done, the pup jumped up and ran into the sprinklers completely healed.

Healings are not always so dramatic and not all illnesses are meant to be physically healed but, like chicken soup, it can't hurt and At the very least, you will reduce your pet's stress and pain and you might even heal him so he won't need more work.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, holler.

Farmgirl hug,
Patricia

Patricia, Thank you so much for this. I am so attached to my companions and when I lose one I feel as if I've lost part of myself as well. Others tend to mock me for that, but I know that my furry people have feelings and thoughts and souls and should be treated with respect and love. I will definitely use this on my two kitties. One of them seems to be losing weight and I need to make another vet appointment for him, in the meantime I'll try to help him.
