Posted - Jun 09 2007 : 8:27:00 PM She is a border collie/aussie she has a very sweet personality and really soft fur. She is like your dog too, I'm not allowed to make a move with out her. I usually end up tripping over her, then stepping on her and tripping again. She also loves horse poop! hehe She could never be a "town" dog.
I'll try the alarm system thing on my husband. With 3 dogs though, nothing goes unnoticed. But it's worth a shot. I love peacocks, even their noise.

Looks like a wonderful farm collie - what breed(s)?
Uses for Pea Fowl ... Yes, they are beautiful and noisy. They are a great alarm system (second only to the guineas!)

That's Maverick, our 9 yo Australian Shepard X Blue Heeler. I swear that boy understands English. He has to supervise all activities involving the draft team or tractor. It's his job, ya know! Someone has to keep an eye on Paul (DH)

Posted - Jun 08 2007 : 06:27:37 AM We've had Dolly the Jersey for almost 5 years. She was named for my MIL (with her permission!)
Dolly the Belgian is 18 yo. We just got her last fall. Kind of hard to rename them at that age.
