Or maybe I should have titled this:

Oops, I did it again!

She's just two and I'm pretty sure over 15 hands right now. No telling how tall she'll end up, as the bulk of growing is done between 2 and 4. Lovely personality, decent build. Hadn't been out of the trailer long before she walked up that close to Darling to check her out. She likes Darling better than me (sniff!)

I think she would look absolutely wonderful as a dressage horse! She looks like she has an intelligent face and seems to be gentling pretty fast for a 2 yr old!

Ah...thanks, y'all!

She's from Warm Springs HMA in Oregon; most of the horses there were from that herd. I got out a measuring tape, and although she won't let me up alongside her just yet, I'm guessing she's closer to 16 hands rather than the conservative 15 I'd thought earlier. Perhaps even taller, but won't know for awhile.

By Monday evening she'd allowed me to scratch her face. Today I was able to work my hand back behind her ears at the top of her neck. She's quite sensible, not flighty or spooky like Sunny. If she were, I'm afraid I'd be in over my head, as she's quite large. She's allowed me to lead her a little bit today, too.

I think I'm going to need a step ladder with this one, lol! As for her job, well, I'd been looking for something big enough for City Boy to do some trail riding on. No doubt she's got the size. But I may just have to start looking into dressage!

Congratulations! Thanks for the pictures. So glad to hear of her positive personality, that is so key. What herd/range is she out of?

She's a beaut! And plain is just fine, when you've got such a lovely personality. I love her one stocking on that back leg.

Lucky girls, both of you!

Miss Jet Storm is beautiful-she does look like a gentle girl! Congrats!

Thanks, ladies. I look at her and find her rather plain, to be honest. But she's got a wonderful temperment (at this point) and shows a lot of curiousity without being stupid or silly.

As for a name, it's Miss Jet Storm, or Jet for short.

And Kay...thanks for the vote!
