Posted - May 31 2007 : 2:37:59 PMThanks for posting your article Suzy! It really is amazing all the misconceptions about farm animals there are. That is why I am always so glad when people are willing to open up their farms for the little ones to come and learn. I think it is really important for little ones to be exposed to farm life a few times so they know there are other ways to live other than just the city life.

Posted - May 31 2007 : 08:40:18 AMGreat article Suzy. What a good thing for kids to be able to go and see. I offered a friends mother some eggs one time and she said no she'd rather buy them from the store because mine were too close to the chicken. whatever THAT meant. People are funny. MB
