Grace, folks really do wonder about our butt watches, don't they? Especially when we start talking about lifting tails and pink, swollen vulvas... although for some warped reason the people who read my blog seem to get a kick out of it. No accounting for good taste these days (thankfully!)

Posted - May 27 2007 : 4:16:35 PM I just love them. I laughed so hard I had to run to the little girls room!!!
When we started our farm I remember a friend from town called to see how I was doing. I heard the phone ring and I was in the barn so one of the boys answered the phone. When Holly asked "Where's Mom"? without skipping a beat he answer "Oh, she is starring at Star's butt today and Marilynn's maybe tonight". After announcing that statement he followed by stating "She can't come to the phone now but maybe once she is done looking at butts she can call you". My friend hung up with saying a word. Later when he told me of the phone call - I just could not stop laughing and had to explain that Holly has no idea why we watch butts around here - Lambing season. When I called her back she told me that I really needed to sell the farm and move back to town because farm life was way to weird! I have seen alot of butts in my eleven years and also had my hands in places I never thought I would. So I guess I will be singing too - "I like big butts and I can not lie" Thanks for your thread

Posted - May 25 2007 : 11:54:57 AM Beautiful Horses! I love any thing that will bring horselovers and their animals together. I haven't ever been to a pulling competiton but I have been around draft horses before. They are so awe inspiring!

Posted - May 25 2007 : 11:23:45 AM I like big butts and I can not lie......(words to a song I remember)... I enjoy watching pullings. If I wasn't at rodeos I was at mule pullings, and pony pullings when I was growing up. It was wonderful watching my Grandfather and Father pull. I still go to Colombia , TN and watch my Dad , B-I-L, and youngest son pull. You get to meet some interesting people from all around. Laura www.2lmzfarms.blogspot.com |

Posted - May 25 2007 : 06:49:15 AM Loved them!! Where did you take them?? Was the Draft Horse thing at Redmond going on? (I'm not sure if it's the right time of year)
Yesterday, in OH, I saw an Amish man plowing his field with his team and he had a youngster alongside the older team...I wished I could have gotten a pic!

Posted - May 25 2007 : 06:47:58 AM I was drawn to this topic line like a moth to flame! I never knew that I was "big butt girl" but I guess I am , though the little ones are as cute as a button. What great photos!
Thanks for making me laugh, and giving me a nice "awwwh" today! J
