Posted - May 07 2007 : 06:05:36 AM I get so sad when I lose an animal no matter how small. They caught colds that led to lung infections. One died a few weeks ago & last night his buddy died. I think he really missed the other guy, he wasn't the same after that. Well now they are together again in guinea pig heaven.

Posted - May 07 2007 : 06:55:12 AM I sooo know what you mean. For months after my "Lil" had gone, I could still hear her tapping down the hallway. The quiet is the worst. Give yourself some time to grieve and then give another little fur soul a home.

Posted - May 07 2007 : 06:33:09 AM it is so quiet without them & I can't stand it. I walk pass their room & it's terrible. I open a bag of veggies in the kitchen & I miss them squeaking until you bring them some lettuce, oranges, or whatever the veggie is. Animals leave just a void when their gone. Oh well, have to get more!!

Posted - May 07 2007 : 06:22:08 AM So sorry Michelle...they are dear, aren't they? It never matters how tiny a soul, they are all special and precious. I know they were certainly loved.

Posted - May 07 2007 : 06:13:07 AM Awww. I'm sorry. We have g. pigs and are so attached to them. They're the cutest things with such fun personalities. It must be quiet now without them.
When we were down to one guinea pig she was miserable. I realized she'd stopped squeeking. She slept all the time, lost weight, and was obviously dying of lonliness. Yackety (named this because she talks all the time) wasn't sick though, just lonely, so we got her a friend, baby Munchkin. All's well in the world now.
