I haven't received an email from MJF since December 3. Was there a sister issue for January? Normally I get a few a month, so it seemed unusual. I also applied for a merit badge for aprons a couple weeks ago, and I haven't received anything for that either. Normally I wouldn't think anything of that, because they seem to take a while but I've noticed a lot of merit badge awardees being posted. I just want to make sure there's not a problem, and I couldn't think of a better place to ask. Thanks!

Howdy Erin,
Thanks for checking in on this. We don't send out a January Sister Issue since we take a couple weeks off at the end of the year to spend more holiday time with our families. I looked into our emailing system and everything looks good for you to receive the February Sister Issue.
This 2 week break actually leads into the delay in your Merit Badge being approved. I looked, and I do see your application waiting for approval. We're dealing with a backlog from the 2 week break that was exacerbated thanks to kids bringing home EVERY SINGLE ILLNESS the first week back at school. Ok, maybe not EVERY SINGLE ILLNESS, but enough to turn the first week back at work into a half-week. :(
There are only a couple badges in front of your badge, I expect it to be approved in just a couple days.
