What sites have you recently visited from here where you might have picked up a virus?
I have had no trouble with anything but I have not visited the latest websites posted. I also update my norton system works every time I turn on my computer as instructed by my computer geek son who told me that if I did not do this I would be sorry. His words. So I do.

Well, I have done all the safety measure I know - deleted all cookies and history of downloaded files, etc. I usually do that routinely anyway. I have restarted my computer and still cannot email anyone from this site. I do not have Norton anti-virus, but I do all microsoft updates when prompted.

So, I guess I will not personally email anyone here! I hope I do not have a virus, but the above postings sound as if that may be possible for any of us who have posted here or visited sites recommended.

I just got another Norton Antivirus email saying an email I sent had a virus in it but I DID NOT send an email recently. This is really getting wierd. All I did was post to this forum. Have I been hacked?

I had an email that said an email I recently sent had a virus in it picked up by Norton. This was just a few days ago girls so maybe there is something we have visited here recently that may have been infected...Has me wondering.

JP-- Try going completely out of the site and delete all your temporary files and cookies. Then completely shutdown and restart. This was EXACTLY what our computer was doing back in November when it crashed after I visited a site mentioned here that was lovely but must have been infected with a virus. Strangely that individual has not posted here since that time so...hmmmm... I have learned after every session where I visit any unknown or new sites to clear out the data incase there is a problem. Norton antivirus and the other bug scanners can only do so much, so we have to be on our toes too! Good luck, I hope it works before you pass the point of no return!

When I click on the "click here to send an email" through MJF I am not being allowed to, for anyone listed. I get a little box with a red X in it. Is this my computer preventing me from sending an email through the MJF website?
