Okay, I wasn't sure if I just wasn't seeing it on here. I am on a lot of those vBulletin or whatever forums where you adjust your time zone, and it adjusts all times on all posts to your own time.

Didn't know that didn't work for this forum, but thank you for letting me know! :0)

Actually, I kinda like it this way, Gabe! It's a little weird to see a different time on the forums sometimes, but then again, I always know what time it is in our other farmgirl sisters' worlds! AND it's fun to get online late at night here and find the girls still wide awake and posting! There's always someone to "talk" to! :) Have a great weekend! - Nini

Ultimately, what would be best is if all times displayed were adjusted for each person's time zone, but I don't see that as a possibility right off with our chatroom.

Otherwise, I can set an offset for times, but it's forum-wide.
And, since our server is on Pacific time, it makes the most sense to set our chatroom to Pacific time, unless the vast majority of our users and our target audience were on, for example, the East coast.

Also, if we could let all posts' times be set to the poster's local time, then a series of posts would have quite the confusing series of timeframes - one user posting at 11:02; the next at 12:03; then 9:05, 11:05, 9:06, etc. It would be difficult to tell when a post actually happened, for the instances where it matters.

So, I'm sorry. There's no way to adjust the times you see to your time zone that I know of at the moment.
