Posting photos is so easy! Don't be scared, if you can copy/paste you're already an expert. I "slurp" URL's all the time. I use the www.flickr.com Once you have your account set up (or maybe you already have one).

Easy photo posting 101

1. Have your post/reply window open, with the post made up. Click on your browser again, dropping down the forum here using the _ box in the upper right corner. (you're layering your browser).

2. Go to your Flickr photostream.

3. Click on the photo you want to select.

4. Click "all sizes", which is a feature at the top of all photos and select the medium size (375 x 500, good webiquette).

5. Copy the photo URL below the picture, it will look something like this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3372/3574116550_9f1ae35fdb.jpg

6. In the nifty forum window here, click the picture icon (yellow mountain picture next to envelope icon). It will generate the image bracket box [ ] you need to make your photo work.

7. Insert your URL inbetween the [ ]put your URL here[ ]

Click preview, to see if it worked, and Bob's your uncle! I figured this out in a matter of minutes after registering.

Before you know it, a matter of clicks & you'll be showing off what you've made & more....like the dust ruffle I made using Amy Butler!

And I just learned knitting!

Hey there, are you using Flickr? Did you get the code under the rambling html on the "all sizes" page? Try that, and insert between the brackets using the button that is 4th from the left above the message box. You'll figure it out, it will be an "aha" moment....just try again!

Try with one of my images. Click this link:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/hatdiva/3333125925/in/set-72157605837435495/

When you get there, see all the icons on the top of the photo? Click on the one with the + magnifying glass that says "all sizes". Then pick the medium size, and click on (2. Grab the photo's URL:) and use that code to put inbetween the [image]URL here![image] brackets.

Make sense?

Well behaved women rarely make history. Especially sassy ones in hats!
