I just noticed that each time I reply to a post, "sometime later" the same post will appear again.
The first time it happened I thought it must be me
But it did it again. (I deleted the newest duplicate)

(there is one in Stitching & Crafting, Crochet envelope, if that helps)

Okay.

Mmmmm... make sure the browser redirects back to the topic within about 5 seconds after you've posted, and if not, then make sure to click on "All Forums" or some other such link, so that it will be sure to go to another page after posting.
The latter will be a pain to have to renavigate to where you were, but it might help avoid the multiple posts, at least, and see if that gets rid of the problem.

If not, try clicking refresh and see where that takes you. Re-try will try resending everything you've posted and duplicate posts for sure.

Does it always seem to happen in batches?

Gabe, it's done it again. I think it happens when I leave the web page and come back later and am told by IE that I have to re-try or refresh the page. I have had to do that a couple of times this morning and now my post has appeared three times.

Hmmm. No duplicate yet, obviously.
It's always good to bathe periodically.

I haven't found any references to this problem from other sources.

Thank-you Gabe for looking into this for me. No, I don't think it is on all my replies. I don't think I have been refreshing (although I do bathe daily ,as you say, I would see the little blah blah thingy.
Okay, when I am done with this one, I will hit refresh when I am on the topic page but will leave everything the way it ends up.

Hello britchickny:

I'll look into this and see what I can find out.

In the meantime, is it happening with literally every post?
Also, so you're aware, when the reply is submitted, if it goes to a "Reply posted successfully" interim sort of page, and you click refresh, it may resend your original post, BUT it should be fairly obvious, because it will pop up a little warning window, telling you something like "refreshing this page will resend your data; are you sure... blah blah?" That means it would post twice.
And, for my further info, after posting your reply and you're definitely back on the topic page looking at your reply in with all the others, hit refresh right away, and see if your duplicate pops up immediately after refreshing, or if it truly pops up sometime later.

Test by replying to this topic, and don't delete the duplicates please.

Gabe
