Akl of the sudden when I logged on to my computer this time, the stuff on the screen in HUGE! Like I can only see a small portion of a page at a time. I know there must be somewhere to fix this, but I only know how to do what I know how to do. Can anyone help me? The letters in this post are about 1/4" tall to me!

go to the desktop, Right-click in a empty area, then left click on properties.
Click on the settings tab, then increase the screen resolution.
Hope this helps.

AHHHHH this is awful!!! That's probably what's wrong Julie, but I don't have any percentages or arrows above my time. I've been looking everywhere for someplace to change the percentage. No luck so far. Thanks though. |

Look in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Right above the time it should say 100% if it doesn't that is your problem. Click the little arrow and choose 100%. I just tried 400% for the fun of it! IT was CRAZY!!!!!

i am the biggest computor idiot in the world.. i can't fix ANYTHING on mine.. even when My son is on the phone trying to walk me through it.. i'm like.. "WHAT!!!!??"
& He's Like.. 'OH JEEZ.. MOM.. I'm on my way over..!"
So.. i feel your pain Sister..
I'll tell ya what i did funny last night.. I have a wireless mouse.. & there is something on it that I can magnify a space i am looking at.. Well Duh!! i have NO idea how to make it Magnify!! So If i ACCIDENTALLY hit something to creat this magnification.. i haven't a CLUE how to make it go away !!! so here I sit with this stupid little magnified box floating all over my screen.. Talk about the frustration level!!! so i was aggrevated.. & hit the mouse with the back of my hand.. flung the silly little thing off the desk & it hit the floor..
OOPS!!.. but when i picked it up & put it back on the desk.. The magnifyer is gone now!! Yippee for me.. Paul Buyan to the rescue!

thanks Carol - no I know it's not a problem with the forum because it's with the desktop, when I first log on. I looked in the support and help but I can't find anything about it. It's really disconcerting to see everything so BIG! |

Hi Sherri.
This sounds to be a problem with your computer, not our forum. Maybe look under the options in your browser for text size. (Mine's under the "Page" menu, but each browser and version is different.)Or it could be a problem with the settings in your control panel.
