Posted - Apr 28 2007 : 12:38:56 PM Wow, great timing and nice article. My eleven year old is planning his own organic egg business. He plans to build the coop and house this spring/summer and order the chicks next spring - 30 of them. Meanwhile he is researching his markets. Blessings, Tonya

Posted - Apr 23 2007 : 12:42:51 PM What a great idea. I wonder if you can have standing rabbit cages set up inside a paddock that is for the goats and just turn out the chickens into the goat paddock during the day? I don't imagine that the goats would mess with either the chickens or rabbits, and if you have a LGD, they'd take care of them all... (unless they eat rabbit, which might negate the whole idea...)
