Posted - Nov 25 2015 : 11:14:35 PM I like your idea for a man's Christmas gift. But I, too, would use a more current book. Great job.

Posted - Nov 25 2015 : 4:22:52 PM I mostly get custom orders and use the book they request. My most popular are the girls Nancy Drew and classic titles. I recently got an order for 32 books for both men and women because I take custom orders!

Posted - Apr 03 2015 : 8:59:54 PM Cute idea on the one hand, I like things hidden in plain site... but I think I would cut up more contemporary hardback books people would actually be less likely to look in them and there are many more used copies of newer books... kinda hurts my heart on the other. I love old books.... as (shock) books to read. As a homeschool mama... it am especially fond of old textbooks and children's and youth literature. I almost picked up a couple Hardy Boys volumes at the thrift store Wed. But didn't have the money and clothes were needed more and my sons are a couple years too young yet to appreciate them yet. If you run across old McGuffey's Eclectic Readers, Ray's Arithmetics, Harvey's Grammars, Spencer's Penmanship or any school books of similar vintage please let me know before you cut them up, as I not only collect old school books, we actually use them too. I would be happy to buy some of the ones we don't already own. A lot of times the kids use reproductions of vintage ones, due to fragile bindings on the old ones. But not all of them have been republished as reproductions yet.

Posted - Feb 19 2015 : 12:30:54 PM You are right Holly. That is what they are. I am now selling them in a local store and I hope they start to sell. There is too much competition on Etsy now and my sales dropped way down because of that. I welcome the competition but did not think I'd loose the sales.
I mainly design mine unlike any other seller and hope they will sell good now they are where someone can pick it up and examine it.

Posted - Feb 15 2015 : 10:48:38 AM Hello,
I believe they are books that have no pages. I could use it to hide something on a book shelf. I could give a small gift to someone if I wanted to trick them into thinking I was giving them a book. I could pick one that had a significant title for a significant event like an anniversary or getting engaged or graduating.
Any help?
